Medieval town of Ogulin

The town of Ogulin is located in an area teeming with legends and folk traditions that developed amid a strikingly beautiful natural and historically challenging environment. Ogulin is a town located at the foot of Klek (1182 m), a mountain beauty in a spacious valley which has two beautiful rivers flowing into it - Dobra and Zagorska Mrežnica. In the centre of the town above the abyss of the river Dobra, there is Đulin ponor, the abyss named after the legend of a young girl who threw herself into it because of unrequited love, and there is also a Frankopan castle here that was built in the 16th century.
